These dark green, slightly oxidized, leaves brew magic when steeped with joy and reverence. A fairly deep green and light Orchid smell is indicative of what this Bao Chong has to offer, moving from ratios of green tea to floral oolong as if on a balancing scale throughout multiple steepings, this tea eventually trades it’s more astringent green flavor for a delicate floral flavor followed up by the a mild green grape flavor.
